CBM 2024 slates business summit today

CEBU, Philippines — Influential business personalities will take the stage today, June 14, 2024 at the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (CCCI) “Good Design, Good Business Summit” at the City Wing Atrium, SM Seaside City Cebu.

The whole-day event, which is part of the events lined up for the celebration of Cebu Business Month (CBM 2024), is the go-to event for qualitative learning and networking. It welcomes a diverse group of professionals from various fields, including product designers.

Moreover, it is an excellent opportunity to gain insights, share knowledge, learn innovative tools, and build meaningful connections in a vibrant atmosphere. Offering value to everyone from moderators to platform providers ensures a productive experience for all attendees.

Renowned Architect William Ti Jr. of WTA Architecture and Design Studio will keynote the event to discuss “City Making.”

Other important speakers also include Aboitiz Power’s Ronaldo Ramos to expound on energy security, Vivant Corporation’s Atty. Jess Anthony N. Garcia on water sustainability.

Sessions will explore the intersection of design and business in the hospitality sector, featuring insights from Christine Angela Sevilla of Radisson Hotel Group, Michelle Barretto of Vitamin B Inc., and Archt. Edwin D. Uy of EUDO.

Earning the title of the Creative City of Design in 2019, Gil Zaire “Butch” Carungay will present the Philippine Creative Industry Roadmap, a comprehensive roadmap for Cebu’s creative industry unique in the country which recognizes the significant and enduring role of creative industries as catalysts for economic growth, cultural enrichment, and meaningful city-building.
