Starting your own realty business

Back when I was in my twenties, the thought of becoming a millionaire was something that could only be achieved in winning the lottery. Today, we see a lot of young people in their twenties earning their millions easily by picking their nose, lol. Levity aside, yes, many young people today are already financially well-off not by working but by being an entrepreneur. To become one does not always mean that you have to shell out some cash and open a coffee shop or a shirt store.

And having your own business does not also mean that you have to get into a networking scheme and sell skin whitening creams, vitamins, coffee, or cellphone load. I have nothing against networking or multilevel marketing (MLM). What I do not like about it is the amount of money that you have to put up, the number of people you have to recruit or convince to put some money in those products so that you will earn from them.

What makes it unfair is that you have to be on top of everyone to earn your millions because if you don’t, you end up buying products that you don’t need and start to convince yourself that you’re going to look anyway like Snow White with the soap and glutathione or a kick on your libido by taking those “supervitamins” which are no different from the vitamins you can buy from your favorite drugstore.

Although not all, MLM offers financial freedom, usually grand, to people who want to see instant rewards and feeds the unwell with the hope of cure and vitality which are all made up to convince more people into buying them should they not pursue the business.  Thing is, those products are not cheap. Thus, you will still end up broke by buying those expensive products.

There are businesses that one can get into without hurting your pocket. For example, you can open up your own insurance agency and you’re good to go after training. I’ve seen people who are very successful in this business by applying the learnings that insurance companies offer to their business partners. You can make it big in insurance if you just focus on the business.

But I think real estate service is by far the most attractive business you can pursue if you want to also earn big. In fact, it is in real estate service that I see more millionaires than in multilevel or insurance.

What makes it easy to succeed in real estate is that, clients have more products to choose. Unlike in insurance or MLM, you are stuck with the products offered by the company you are selling for. In real estate, you can sell the products of competing companies, which means, you can deal with as many developers you like. The best thing about real estate service is that, you don’t have to put up some money in order to sell unlike MLM but the potential rewards are greater than you get in insurance or MLM.

Yes, in real estate, you can be a millionaire in a month or two by focusing on it and be strategic about it. No kidding. I have seen young people today who are now accomplished real estate professionals earning six-digits a month in the business and yet are new in the field.
