CIM marks 57th anniversary
CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) is celebrating its 57th Founding Anniversary from December 1 to December 8, 2014 with the theme “Medical Education in Relation to ASEAN Situation”.
A line-up of activities has been prepared for the weeklong celebration: December 1 (Monday) -- CIM Medical World Congress, (Radisson Blu Hotel, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM); December 2 (Tuesday) -- CIM Medical World Congress, (Radisson Blu Hotel, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM);
December 3 (Wednesday) -- Fellowship Night (Casino Espanol de Cebu, 6:00 PM) and Student’s Night (The Pavilion, Oakridge Business Park, 6:00 PM): December 4 (Thursday) -- UTOKAY (CIM Amphi 3, 9:00 AM);
December 5 (Friday) --Bioethics (CIM Social Hall, 9:00 AM) / Free Diagnostic Clinic (CVGH OPD, 9:00 AM-12:00 NN) / Research Paper Contest (CIM Amphi 3, 1:30 PM) / Floral Offering for Drs. Jacinto Velez Sr., Jacinto Velez, Jr. and Mrs. Epifania Velez (Cempark, 2:30 PM); December 6 (Saturday) -- Memorial Mass (CIM Amphi 3, 8:30 AM) /Alumni Day & Awarding of MOCA (Most Outstanding CIM Alumnus (CIM Amphi 3, 10:00 AM) / Luncheon (CIM Social Hall, 12:00 NN) / 25th Annual Dr. Jacinto Velez, Sr. Memorial Lecture (CIM Social Hall, 2:00 PM); December 7 (Sunday) -- Well Baby Contest (CIM Lobby, 8:00 AM-12:00 NN); December 8 (Monday) -- Mass (CIM Social Hall, 8:30 AM) to be followed by the Recognition Ceremonies.
