Metro brings back ‘knockout sale’

CEBU, Philippines - Consumers who missed the recent Metro-wide clearance sale are now given the opportunity to fill their homes with new items before the Metro stores bring in new stocks in time for the Ber months.

Thus, by popular demand, the Metro Retail Group extends the “Metro Knockout Sale” for the rest of August offering even greater and more attractive deals than the recent clearance sale.

“Knockout Deals” include an offer of 25 percent less on Metro Jewelry like the irresistible 18-karat Saudi gold ladies ring, 50 percent off on Eyelet Jacquard Brocade curtains, and assorted ladies flat shoes now at P199 a pair.

“Power Punch” deals also include a double garment rack now priced at P875, down from P1,169; savings of P674 for an elegant ceiling fan with lights now offered at P1,975; and household ladders discounted by 30 percent.

There are also “Super Savers” like the P501 off from an Imarflex popcorn maker now offered for P2,599 and a Kyowa microwave oven now P1,999, plus large screen LED TV sets from Dévant and Matrix reduced by P1,000 to P3,000.

Consumers using participating credit cards can further gain zero interest up to 12 months on selected items.
