RPN 9 inks deal with J Centre for talent search

CEBU, Philippines - RPN  9 is  launching the Cebu leg of Boses Tinig Pinoy  on January 17, 2014 at     J Centre Mall in  Mandaue City, following a deal reached between management of the  broadcasting network and the mall.

J Centre Mall will host  the January 17 launching program at the mall’s atrium where shoppers are sure  to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment.

Coming to Cebu  for the launching are RPN’s top officials led by RPN President & CEO Robert T. Rivera whose brainchild is this nationwide search for the best in a cappella, duet or trio. Rivera believes in this unique talent search as the best way to identify the real singing talents. He personally sees to the success of launching activities by attending to these events himself.

RPN dares to be different with Boses Tinig Pinoy since this is the first ever on nationwide radio. With Boses Tinig Pinoy, Rivera aims to turn RPN around back to the glory days with its own pool of talents and as the leader network. 

Top winners of the search get over 1 million pesos in prizes and a shot at a recording career and a talent management contract with RPN 9. Rivera is encouraging    the youth, in school and out of school, members of campus and church choirs, and other talents, age 15 and above to join the search . Auditions are held daily in all provincial stations nationwide. Just go to RPN DYKC Radio Station located in Maguikay, Mandaue City.

Celebrity roadshow hosts Aileen  Papin and Anthony Castelo will also grace the event. Aileen Papin aside from being the sister of singer Imelda Papin , herself is  well-known for her repertoire of hitsongs like  her version of Amazing Grace, Ikaw Ang Musika, Awit Koy Dinggin Mo, and Give More, Love More.

Anthony Castelo is likewise best remembered for hits like Kastilyong Buhangin and Balatkayo. Both artists have proven they will not  be outdone  by today’s younger crop of entertainers  during the launching in Cagayan de Oro City  where they wowed the crowd with their old-time favorite hits, not to mention their gift of rapport with the audience. 

Celebrities supportive of Rivera’s Boses Tinig Pinoy project include  Superstar Nora Aunor who started her singing career with RPN and made it her home for twenty years, and of course, the ever loyal  Kuya Germs, German Moreno, who is now the Master Showman of another TV network.
