PESO to hold local job fair on Dec. 1
CEBU, Philippines - Job opportunities are once again offered to those who are seeking for employment or looking to change the nature or the kind of work they have.
On Dec. 1, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) will hold a Local Job Fair at the Capitol social hall.
PESO is expecting 35 establishments including recruitment agencies to participate in the activity.
Some of the companies who are expected to show support to the job recruitment this Sunday are Cebu Mitsumi, Inc., International Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Norkis Group of Companies, Asianwide Refreshments Corp. (RC COLA PHILS.), Cebu Progress Commercial, Call Center 101 and P.J. Lhuillier Group of Companies, and Duty Free Philippines among others.
Interested parties are encouraged to register at the PESO Provincial Capitol located at the ground floor so they can have their priority numbers for their convenience on the day of the job fair.
During the job fair, personnel from the SSS, NSO, PhilHealth and NBI will entertain inquiries about their respective agencies.
Dr. Mathea M. Baguia, PESO head, said that her office has also a Help Desk section which could assist displaced workers. It has a licensed special recruitment staff from Manila who is here to conduct job recruitment for abroad. (FREEMAN)
