Hanniyah II in Mactan 75% sold out - Johndorf

CEBU, Philippines - Seventy-five percent (75%) of over 500 affordable townhouse packages now built at Phase II of Hanniyah Subdivision in Babag, Lapu-Lapu City have been sold out, announced Johndorf Ventures Corporation (JVC), the holding firm of developer Prohomes Development Inc.

Michele D. Chiu, JVC sales and marketing manager, said they expect to complete the sale of the residential units before the year ends. "The turnout affirmed our being bullish about the real property market," she said, adding that the brokers and their agents have been equally bullish.

It was only in February this year when JVC re-launched Hanniyah II after fully acquiring Prohomes when half of the planned townhouse units were also then ready for occupancy. “Almost all units are now ready for the buying family to live in,” she added.

Then as JVC subsidiary, Prohomes started to develop Hanniyah Homes three years ago in a 6-hectare property across the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Barangay Babag, completing phase one in over a year with all its units sold out and almost fully occupied.

Johndorf proceeded with phase two last year at the south side of the whole subdivision, investing some P100 million for the eighth gated residential subdivision built in Cebu under Prohomes since 2006.

The amount is part of the P1.5 billion the company earmarked for 2013 with P800 million of the budget for projects in Cebu, including one that will be launched in the fourth quarter, disclosed Chiu.

Development works at Hanniyah II had gone way ahead of schedule that Chiu attributed to a unique technology, a system Johndorf developed from over 20 years of experience in building affordable to high-end residences. (FREEMAN)
