Real estate expo to convene top property developers

CEBU, Philippines - The 3rd Cebu Real Estate Expo that is slated on August 8 to 14 will gather top real estate players and property developers from both the commercial and residential sectors in Cebu.

The weeklong exposition that will be held at SM City Cebu will also showcase other allied industries of the real estate sector such as furniture, hardware, construction and banking institutions.

The event is organized by the Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards, Inc. – Cebu Real Estate Board, Inc. (PAREB-CEREB) that currently has 400 local members.

Organizers said in its latest statement that the 3rd Cebu Real Estate Expo 2013 is considered to be the best collaboration of real estate movers in the industry who have established a name as premier and credible property developers.

Further, PAREB-CEREB added that the expo shall serve as a one-stop shop of varied choices for easier decision-making for real estate investors.

Earlier, the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) VII forecasted a bullish outlook of the continuous significant contribution of both the construction and real estate industries to the regional economy growth.

These two sectors are projected to remain buoyant this year taking into account the vibrant property development in the region.

The Central Visayas Economic Situationer 2012 reported a robust growth of the construction and real estate industries that was fueled by the aggressive expansion of activities by other leading industries in the region such as the information and technology, business process outsourcing, tourism, retail and steady flow of remittances from overseas Filipino workers. /JOB (FREEMAN)
