SM Retail, Cebuana Lhuillier now accepts VECO payments

CEBU, Philippines - Fulfilling its promise to provide the best service experience for its customers, Visayan Electric Company (VECO) recently tied up with SM Retail and Cebuana Lhuillier as its new third party collection (TPC) partners.

Through its department stores such as Savemore and Hypermarkets, SM Retail already began the payment collection for VECO last November of this year while Cebuano Lhuillier started collecting early of December.

"Forming partnerships with collection partners gives our customers a diverse array of payment channels to choose from and enables convenient and hassle-free payments," VECO's Billing and Collection Manager Sandro Aboitiz stated.

Customers are urged to pay through VECO's authorized TPC partners since they guarantee timely posting of payments at no additional cost.

They may also pay through authorized banks, such as Unionbank, RCBC, Banco De Oro, Bank of Commerce, Metrobank and Citibank.

As the company’s usual reminder, they are further encouraged to pay their bills on or before the due date to avoid late payment charges and disconnection of electric service.

In case of receipt of a notice of disconnection however, customers could only pay at VECO collection offices such as VECO Full Service Center at 2nd level of SM City Cebu, Talisay Full Service Center at South National Highway, Bulacao, Talisay City, Talamban Collection Office at Piazza Elesia, Gov. M. Cuenco Ave. cor. Cabancalan, Talamban, Cebu, Consolacion Collection Office at Ermac Arcade, Cansaga, Consolacion and Liloan Collection Office at Highway Poblacion, Liloan to avoid the inconvenience of disconnection.

VECO's existing collection partners include Star Bayad, 2GO, EC Pay and CIS Bayad Center.

The electric company also caters online and autocharge payments through bancnetonline.com, unionbankph.com, citibank.com.ph and megalink.com.ph. — (FREEMAN)
