Wilcon Depot expands to serve regional clients

CEBU, Philippines - Known as a household name in the construction supply industry, Wilcon Depot expanded its reach and services to its regional clients as it opened its first store in Cebu and in Visayas.

The company had its soft opening of its branch located at Lot 2359, Lawaan II, Talisay City last August 10.

Wilcon Depot Executive Marketing Manager Evelyn Sajonia said in an interview that the company considers Cebu as a promising market with the emergence of business establishments and other structures.

“Before nahihirapan ang mga customers namin since kailangan pang i-ship ang mga orders nila from Manila to Cebu. So the company decided to branch out. Lahat na kailangan mo sa bahay, meron kami,” she added. (Before, our customers had a hard time since we had to ship their orders from Manila to Cebu. So the company decided to branch out. The company caters to the needs of its clients from various market segments by providing an extensive selection of products which includes appliances, automotive, building materials, doors and mouldings, electricals, furniture, hardware, housewares, outdoor living, paints and sundries, plumbing, sanitary wares, tiles and tools.

She further revealed that another Wilcon outlet will soon be opened in Mandaue before the yearend.

Aside from Cebu, the company has 18 more Wilcon Depots situated in Pampanga, Batangas, Manila, Las Piñas, Quezon City, Makati, Alabang, Parañaque, Tarlac, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Ilocos Norte and Davao.
