Local developer bullish with real estate growth

- AJ de la Torre - The Philippine Star

CEBU, Philippines - Even just after breaking ground with their second residential development in Cebu, local property developer Pacific Land Ventures and Property development Inc. is now gearing forward on another project.

This was according to Pacific Land General Manager Atty. Dennis Quiokeles during the ground breaking ceremony of their 2.3 hectare development in Mactan- the Mactan Plains.

Quiokeles shared that their plans to continually “set benchmarks and redefine standards” through their projects are high because of their optimism of the growth of the industry and that there is still an untapped market which they could help address.

Pacific Land Ventures initially started with a residential development in Tayud Consolacion, Pueblo El Grande which according to Quiokeles was greatly received by the public and has now opened limited phase 3 units.

Mactan Plains, which is expected to be completed in two to three years, will have 142 house-and-lot residential units with prices ranging from P1.8 million to P3 million.

The new development will have three house models, all with contemporary Asian-inspired designs namely: Erin, the two-storey rowhouse with three bedrooms a floor area of 73 square meters sq.m; Fiona, one-storey single detached house with two bedrooms at 42 sq.m; and Kiara, the two-storey single detached unit with three bedrooms at 69 sq.m.

Quiokeles said that aside from the need for homes, buyers are seeing the strength in investing their money in real estate properties because of its growth.

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza shared during the groundbreaking how grateful they are of the number of developments coming in their city whichwould help the city grow and generate jobs as well.

Radaza said that the city is also strengthening road maintenance projects to support the developments in the city.

With Mactan Plains’ development ongoing, Pacific Land Ventures is now conceptualizing their two-tower condominium on A.S Fortuna Street, Mandaue City Cebu. —
