CEBU, Philippines - Chevrolet recently launched the all-new Colorado, a midsize pick-up model, at Ayala Center Cebu.
Chevrolet Cebu President and Chief Executive Officer Franklyn Ong expressed a lot of confidence on the latest product of the company as it offers a five-year warranty for a worry-free experience.
“We, at Chevrolet Cebu, are confident with Chevrolet’s latest product offering – the all-new Chevrolet Colorado. This midsize pick-up truck was built with a commitment not just to cater the usual purposes of a regular pick-up, but rather to provide its owner the dependability to do more and capability to be more,” he said.
He added that the newest face of Chevrolet would be a hit for car enthusiasts as they have been bored with the current and usual pick-ups.
Meanwhile, Chevrolet Cebu Vice President and Aftersales Director Sidney Po said that the first mid-size pick-up is engineered for the Asian market, particularly for the Philippines which has a vast demand for pick-ups.
He further cited that the Asian market has versatile and varied needs combining the taste of luxury and ruggedness.
He added that pick-ups sell better in Visayas and Mindanao regions than Luzon as the vehicles are more than a necessity here.
With its high stand configuration, stance and ground clearance, he noted that Colorado can still run even in areas flooded up to about 80 centimeters of water.
“It’s very useful now that it’s rainy season again. It is built like a truck,” he continued.
Po further revealed that the company is working out on two popular products to be launched before the year ends.
In the recently released 2012 Philippine Customer Service Index study, Chevrolet in the Philippines was again recognized as the number one brand for customer service by the JD Power Asia Pacific for aftersales service experience for the second consecutive year with an overall index score of 836 and performing particularly well in the service quality and service advisor factors.
“That’s exactly our commitment – total customer satisfaction,” he stated.
