CEBU, Philippines - After launching its new series of smartphones during the second quarter of 2012, HTC unveiled another new model to finally complete the HTC One family – the HTC One S.
Aiming to meet the standards of smartphone users in the Philippines, the global smartphone designer introduced its new HTC One series of smartphones with their flagship devices namely HTC One V and HTC One X last April 19.
HTC Philippines Marketing Communications Manager Francisco Torno III said that the company has received positive feedbacks regarding the HTC One experience after its series launch, targeting the diverse market of tech-savvy individuals.
He added that Cebu is considered to be the second largest market for HTC in the country which also projects an upbeat market acceptance.
He further noted that the company has tapped the upper class segment of the province that tends to appreciate the One series in terms of market share.
Considering that One X and One V have proved to be great in the Queen City of the South, HTC is bullish with its new model – the HTC One S – taking into account the quality and design of each product they offer in the market.
The company refers the new model as an “all-in-pocket” gadget, styled with an ultra-slim 7.9mm metal unibody, amazing camera, authentic sound experience and “super-fast” technology.
HTC One S is engineered with an advanced design of an ultra-matte black ceramic surface and anodized gradient finishing.
It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor with a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, powering an ultra-responsive interface with rich graphics that come to life on the 4.3 inch bright Super AMOLED screen.
HTC One S blends Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense™ 4, the new version of HTC’s acclaimed user experience that features new camera capabilities, enabling users to shoot outstanding pictures in the blink of an eye.
With an f/2.0 lens and auto HDR mode, HTC ImageSense technology delivers fast image capture with stunning results, even under adverse lighting conditions in 0.7 seconds and with its 0.2 second autofocus.
Moreover, it beats by Dr. Dre Audio™ integration for more authentic sound and can function with accessories such as HTC’s wireless Media Link HD* into your TV’s HDMI port and HTC Car Stereo Clip.
HTC has also partnered with Dropbox to provide consumers with 25 gigabytes of free online space for two years enough to keep more than 10,000 high-quality photos.
HTC One S is available at authorized retailers and mobile operators with a suggested retail price of P26 990.
