Prince Warehouse gears up for sari-sari store festival

CEBU, Philippines - Sari-sari store owners from all over Cebu are set to converge again this year as Prince Warehouse Club holds its annual Sari-Sari Store Festival on July 14 at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) in Mandaue City.

Now on its seventh year, the Sari-Sari Store Festival remains to be the landmark event of the Prince Warehouse Club.

Prince Warehouse Club, with the theme: Sari-Sari Store Festival 2012: Grow Your Store With Us!”, expects this year’s gathering to be much bigger, grander and more fun-filled as sari-sari store owners from Danao, Minglanilla, Old MCWD building, and North Reclamation Area are expected to take part in the event.

Now with 26,000 strong members in Cebu province alone, Prince Warehouse Club opened branches in Baybay, Maasin, Biliran and Naval in Leyte last year. In the last quarter of this year, it will open two more outlets in southern Cebu, in Argao and Dalaguete.

Just like in the previous festivals, still lined up for this year are an exhibition, a variety show, and helpful discussions on entrepreneurship, micro-finance, and sari-sari store best practices and success stories, designed to help store owners grow and boost the local economy as well. 

“The Festival is our way of expressing our gratitude for the members for their continued support in sustaining and advancing our vision,” Robert Go, Prince Warehouse Club president and CEO, said.

Approximately 2,000 PWC Sari-Sari Store Society members, suppliers, distributors, sponsors and exhibitors are expected to crowd the 1, 500 square-meter Plenary Exhibition Hall of the Cebu International Convention Center on July 14.

Sponsor exhibitors will be provided strategically-located stalls to showcase their goods and where the public can buy retail at wholesale prices.

Sessions with relevant topics will be highlighted, while the whole day affair will be capped by a variety show and the awarding for the Best in Booth Display on the theme: “Growing your stores with Prince Warehouse Club”.
