CEBU, Philippines - In its commitment in redefining standards, AXA Philippines opened a new branch office in the Queen City of the South, providing personalized solutions to the market of Cebu as an economic hub and to the Visayas region as a whole.
With its goal to either open new branches or renovate existing branches, AXA Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Rien Hermans said that the newly opened regional office located at Escario Building in North Escario Street is one of the confirmations on how the company revives itself to be more responsive to the complex needs of its customers.
Known to be customer-centric in approach, he added that the insurance company aims to establish better relationships with their clients as the latter make their dreams into reality though personalized solutions.
Through different situations and preferences, he further said that AXA formulates its goals from their customers, allowing them to adjust their products and services based on their changing needs.
“Insurance must be your reliable investment. It should attend to your needs and offer friendly solutions. It is something in which you can say “I’m not just getting a product; I’m coming up with the right solutions,”” Hermans said.
With an estimate of 12-15 percent of their Cebu-based clients and counting, he also noted that the new AXA branch is not a typical office but a customer-friendly branch, fit to serve its clients.
“It’s a growing market. And the moment you start it, you have to continue it. Slowly improve and improve again. It’s part of our culture,” he stated.
Meanwhile, AXA Philippines Chief Agency Officer Rahul Hora referred Cebu as the hub for all development, enabling the insurance company to have greater penetration on the entire region.
“Cebu and Visayas are extremely important to us, in all operations. Opening this branch is our way of commitment to expand our reach and access to our customers. If you have the best of the products and services but you do not have the distribution channel, it is of no use,” he said.
Aside from redefining its new branch, he added that AXA dedicates itself to fully train its distributors and advisers to assist their customers to clearly understand what he needs the insurance for and appreciate its value, rather than just using the traditional approach of selling such.
He also said that the company has not reached its end yet but is geared more towards continuous improvement to serve more and more Filipinos.
With the new branch office considered to be the fifth in Visayas and the 8th in the country, the AXA Cebu team has 33 unit heads and 230 financial advisers.
Serving more than 130,000 customers nationwide with more than P30 billion funds under management, AXA Philippines has another branch office in Cebu located at Cebu Business Park and branches based in Bacolod, Iloilo and Tacloban for the Visayas region. (FREEMAN)
