Global smartphone designer launches HTC One series

CEBU, Philippines - With the surge of advanced technology and brilliant, innovative ideas, more and more companies offer new high-tech gadgets particularly smartphones.

High Tech Computer Corporation, a global designer of smartphones, introduced its new HTC One series of smartphones designed to meet the standards of smartphone users in the Philippines including Pinoy audiophiles and photo buffs.

Channel manager of HTC Philippines Richard Estanislao said that with their flagship devices namely HTC One V and HTC One X, their goal is to address the consumers’ top request when it comes to their phones by not compromising technology and ensuring that the craftsmanship is still there.

“We want to make your life easier. What’s important for us here in HTC is the need of the consumers, addressing the comfortability of the authentic sound, amazing camera and wireless communication using HTC One Series,” he stated during the HTC launching on April 19 at The Penthouse, Asiatown IT Park.

He further explained that with ImageSense, HTC One offers enhancements in its lens, software and a new custom HTC ImageChip which are all combined to deliver out the fastest image capture, best image quality under adverse condition and easiest interface that enables quick access to capturing stills and videos with side-by-side photo and video capture buttons.

He said that unlike other smartphones, HTC One reduces the time to capture scenes since it has 0.7-second activation and 0.2 – second autofocus for a continuous shooting up to 4 frames per second in a total of 99 shots.

Estanislao added that what makes it more convenient for HTC One users is that they can capture a photo and shoot video at the same time. Moreover, HTC has integrated Dropbox enabling them to get 25 gigabytes of free Dropbox space for two years with seamless integration in saving and editing files.

While its authentic sound featuring universal beat audio, music center and synchronization, he said that with just three fingers, one can share everything in HD wirelessly.

On the other hand, HTC Philippines Marketing Communications Manager Francisco Torno III said that HTC One Series is everything a consumer needs in just a power of one, rising a challenge to other smartphone producers.

Describing Cebuanos as easy adaptors of technology, he noted that HTC One targets the tech-savvy people such as the yuppies and those people who welcome and appreciate the advancement of technology.

“For HTC, what’s important is to address the needs of the people. As long as we receive good comments from our consumers, which we do nowadays, I’m happy with it,” he said.

With HTC One Cebu located at SM Cyberzone, he added that they are planning to open more stores in major malls in Cebu, Davao and other provinces in the Philippines particularly the southern part.

HTC One X features a 3-D curved glass polycarbonate unibody, super lightweight, new Tegra 3 mobile processor for clear graphics, faster applications and longer battery life and micro-holes to avoid rust and dust.
