Golden Star fastcrafts ply Cebu-Camotes route
CEBU, Philippines - Just in time for the summer sensation, fast crafts have been made available for local and foreign tourists who are excited to visit one of the islands in the Queen City of the South, the Camotes Group of Islands.
Camotes, one of the attractive tourist destinations in Cebu, has four islands which are composed of three sub-islands which are divided into four municipalities namely San Francisco, Pilar, Tudela and Poro.
Known for its beach resorts and clean environment, the island is both accessible from Leyte and Cebu in which travelers can take advantage of daily trips by land and by boat.
To add convenience for passengers, Golden Star Manning and Ship Management Corporation is providing fast ferries bound from Cebu to Poro, Camotes in two hours and vice versa.
Fully equipped with various amenities such as airconditioned vessel, flat screen television and canteen, Golden Star Operations Manager Architect Antonio Sulay II said that these fast crafts are ideal for backpackers and day tours for this summer and holy week vacation.
