ATS rebrands units as 2GO
CEBU, Philippines - To further boost its reputation as the leading shipper in the freight and logistics business, ATS Consolidated has revealed its new corporate rebranding program.
Part of the program is the retention of the brand 2GO in all the service offerings of the company.
This was announced by ATS chief executive officer Sulficio Tagud Jr., who said that despite the change in brand, their mission to provide a high level of excellent customer service still prevails.
“ATS is more than just a shipping company and we wanted a new identity that will unify ATS’s brands across all products and services.”
Tagud explained that after the approval of the company’s principal stockholders, Negros Navigation Co. (NENACO), they pushed through with changing the name of the operating company into 2GO Group Inc.
He said that from now on, the company will function with three core business units namely 2GO Freight. 2Go Supply Chain management and 2Go Travel.
For 2GO Freight, Tagud said that it will continue to handle commercial and personal shipping needs including household goods, commercial auto shipping, container shipping, freight shipping and express shipping.
As for 2GO Supply Chain Management, “the unit leverages on the company’s more than 100 years of expertise in Logistics, Distribution, Warehousing, and Inventory Management.”
Meanwhile Negros Navigation, SuperFerry, SuperCat, and Cebu Ferries will all be branded 2GO Travel.
2GO Travel, integrating the country’s leading passenger ships and fast ferries, offers the biggest fleet and widest choice of route linking Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
"All these changes reflect an important redirection for ATS — towards becoming a world-class transport, logistics, and supply chain company," said Tagud.
The company has 23 vessels –– eight are passenger/cargo ships; three are under the brand Cebu Ferries, seven fast craft under SuperCat and five cargo vessels. — (FREEMAN)
