CEBU, Philippines - International Data Corporation (IDC), an Information Technology (IT) analyst, has ranked IBM as number one in Application Management Services in market share, in a survey conducted recently.
Latest IDC report entitled “Worldwide and U.S. Application Management Services 2010 Vendor Shares: IDC’s Top 10 Vendors,” the survey firm revealed that IBM swept the three Application Management Services (AMS) categories, ranking number one in the Worldwide Discrete, number one is U.S. Discrete, and also number one in Worldwide Consolidated (Discreet + Bundled).
The report further stated that IBM leads in both Worldwide and U.S. discrete market share, with double-digit year-over-year growth in both categories.
According to the report, IBM continued to hold a significant lead in Consolidated AMS revenue, offering market-leading integrated or discrete service options to help clients address efficiency, cost, and portfolio modernization options.
