HP launches high quality, low cost printing tools

CEBU, Philippines - Technology solutions provider Hewlett Packard has unveiled the world’s first low cost but high quality printing tools to the Cebuano market to meet the needs of consumers looking for “value for money” products.

HP recently unveiled a full suite of ultra-low cost Ink Advantage printers that offers customers reduced printing cost of up to 50 percent.

This offering is in response to strong demand for the HP Ink Advantage System that provides customers with lower printer running costs and purchase price.

“Since we launched the HP Ink Advantage system for all the small business segment last year, we have been receiving overwhelming response from home users,” said Erwin Creencia, market development manager for Inkjet and Web Solutions Imaging and Printing Group.

“This shows that many home users are looking for great value printers with low running costs. Fuelled by this strong customer demand, we decided to introduce a full line-up of Ink Advantage printers to offer home users greater choices,” he added.

HP, the pioneer of printing technology, is now spoiling the highly tech-savvy market, with high quality printing solutions, with a cost of only P350 ink that can already print 600 pages.

Moreover, the total cost of ownership is lower compared to the previous prices of high quality printers introduced by HP, said Creencia.

These new set of HPs Ne Ink Advantage cartridges are still using the same dual-drop volume technology found in other Original HP inks.

These new cutting-edge printers include; the new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2010 Printer, which offers savings on printing costs with new ultra-low cost inks; The new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 All-in-One, which allows users to print, scan and copy everyday documents affordably; The new HP Photoshop Ink Advantage e-All-in-One, designed to suit frequent or moderate color photo printing at an affordable price and even without a PC; and the new HP OfficeJet Advantage 4500 All-in-One, an affordable flatbed all-in-one that offers savings of up to 50 percent and features Ethernet connectivity for increased productivity at work or at home.

HP firsts launched the Ink Advantage printers in 2009 to offer small businesses a way to print affordably without compromising the quality and reliability of using original ink.

However, a recent third party survey commissioned by HP shows that over 70 percent of users who purchased Ink Advantage printers are home users.

Creencia further added that in addition to providing greater choices and outstanding value, the new HP Ink Advantage printers deliver the same quality, reliability and convenience customers rely on from HP.

Being made available to the Philippine market since October last year, these printers also have practical features that help reduce the environment impact on printing as part of the HP Eco Solutions program.

They are “Energy Star” qualified, use less than one watt of energy while in off mode, feature a paper-saving print mode, and carry the HP Eco Highlights label, which summarizes features such as reduced energy consumption and ease of recycling.

All HP Ink Advantage printers also come in a 99 percent recyclable packaging, Creencia concluded. (FREEMAN)
