CEBU, Philippines - Colourfield Land Development Corp., the property development arm of the Belmont group of companies, had a roadmarking ceremony last Wednesday on its first residential development project, which is aimed at targeting professionals and entrepreneurs in the country and abroad.
Northfield Residences, a three-hectare development located in Canduman, Mandaue City, offers more than 200 house and lot units with prices ranging from P1.5 million to P3.5 million and floor areas of from 50 square meters to 82 square meters.
In a press conference held last Wednesday, Colourfield Land president Chester Lim expressed confidence that the group’s first development project will meet the housing requirements of its target market.
“Buyers of Northfield can be confident that we took care even of details like those that cannot be seen in the finished home. We are pleased that the interest level is high, because of the location and the commitment to high quality homes, and the relaxing aesthetics and environment of the development,” he said
The company aims to complete the project in three years. However, the first batch of 40 house and lot units in phase one will be turned over to the buyers in December this year.
Lim said one of the best features of the subdivision is its preference for green and open space. Development activities in the site have been in full swing after its groundbreaking last month. The company has scheduled to launch Northfield in the first week of June, when the “interested buyers can already choose their preferred units.”
Model houses at Northfield are the two-storey single detached, Jade; duplex, Celadon; and the two-storey townhouses, Midori. All house models follow a modern Asian architectural theme.
Amenities of the village include a clubhouse, children’s playground, linear gardens, 24-hour security, and 10-meter main roads. Northfield can be accessed through three routes—via Canduman, Talamban and Cabancalan.—Ehda M. Dagooc
