Kishanta expands on rising demand from global Pinoys
As real estate has become one of the safest tools for investments amid the global economic uncertainty, Aboitizland Inc., is expanding its middle-range residential project Kishanta, banking on the strong interest especially from the International Filipino Market (IFM).
Kishanta is one of the newest village landmark developments of Aboitizland located at the 25-hectare property on the hills of Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City.
On top of the 292 lots made available in the market since it launched in 2006, Aboitizland is now introducing another 249 lots for its phase 2 expansion.
“This is because of the strong demand, especially from the IFM. I believe Filipinos in the US are now investing their money in the Philippines, specifically real estate. It’s true that some people are holding on to their money. But, others such as those from the US are investing here,” said Pia Mantecon, Aboitizland Inc., vice president for marketing, sales and customer service.
According to Mantecon, although the company has put everything into consideration, including the bleak outlook next year, she said “Aboitizland has to position itself, and prepare for the rebound. This is a cycle, it’s better to be ready.”
A lot of interest has been generated for Kishanta and Kishanta Zen Residences, an enclave of 100 ready-to-occupy homes within the community. The immense popularity of Kishanta and the serene, blissful lifestyle that it embodies has prompted Aboitizland to open up an additional 12.9 hectares for development adjacent to the village’s original 15 hectares.
Because of the belt tightening generally adopted by the worldwide market, Mantecon said the company has decided to base its lot-price range from the previous offers.
Kishanta’s first phase, which offers 295 lots available, is now 70 percent sold out in two years time from the launching. About 50 percent of the total buyers are local consumers, the rest are Filipinos around the world called IFM, which are the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), Filipinas married to foreigners, among others.
Kishanta is more popular in countries like United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, Mantecon said. The company attributed its strong international market take up due to its active online campaign.
Emerging on the hills of Talisay City, Kishanta offers refreshing views of the mountains and the ridge the cityspace and the sea. It is built to promote a life of calm and tranquillity—featuring a wellness theme, with herbal garden fitness trail, and two-hectare nature corridor.
Aboitizland is the developer of prestigious subdivisions in Cebu such as North Town Homes, Prestina North (Talamban), Molave (Consolacion), among others.
