Pioneer widens market reach with Cebu presence

To maintain competitiveness in the country’s insurance industry, Pioneer Group of companies recently launched its eight-storey Pioneer House Cebu last Tuesday that will provide office spaces deemed to meet the increasing demand of Cebu’s business district.

Having started its growth in Metro Manila, Pioneer Group brings together the branches of the Pioneer Insurance and Pioneer Life under one roof to consolidate the groups’ operations outside the capital towards key cities like Cebu.

The 6, 500 square meters building located at Cardinal Rosales Avenue in Cebu Business Park houses the expanded delivery facility of Accenture, a world leader in IT outsourcing and BPO.

With the Pioneer House Cebu as a symbol of their commitment to their clientele, Pioneer Life’s President and Chief Executive Officer Lorenzo O. Chan said in a press briefing held recently prior to the inauguration that, “our goal is to become a model Filipino enterprise. Because of our commitment to our clients, we will continue to grow, expand and build new foundation especially in other areas to be able to tap SMEs and reach a wider segment of the market.”

Spending to over P230 million in building structures, repackaging and redesigning products, the Pioneer Group shows its deep enthusiasm to strengthen their services by becoming sensitive about the needs of the market through providing specialized packages and competitive price ranges. – Rhia de Pablo
