With a doctor and a former call center agent owning the company, LEAD Career Mover aims to provide a training as close as reality. Dr. Eric Lasala, Chief Executive Officer, and Jerry De Leon, General Manager, spearhead the training of future call center agents.
LEAD, which stands for Learning Elements for Advanced Development, aims to help young professionals, executives, and students in developing and enhancing existing skills. It also aims to help their students discover new skills for their development as individuals in order to help them in their career goals.
Lasala however clarified that the company is not a training ground for call center agents alone, but it also aims to provide training in customer service relations and even personality development. To date, the company has started its program in call center enhancement but it would soon open its programs for career enhancement, English as a second language, how to handle an interview, and good customer relations.
The company also boasts of its specially designed small rooms which is meant to be conducive for advanced learning. Modules have also been thoroughly prepared months before the opening of their programs.
Lasala also added that they are offering a modern type and non-conventional teaching techniques, which are aimed to develop their full potential, at a very affordable price. A program which runs for about seven to eight sessions with about three hours per session would only cost P1, 680.
The company already held a soft opening for their call center enhancement program and already had ten graduates. Students were divided into two batches, morning and afternoon. It is however planning to open an evening batch since a lot of professionals who are working during daytime are inquiring about the training.
Students should be at least High School graduates but without age limit. The owners said, that enrollees may not necessarily be good in their communication skills since the training center provides enhancement programs for such.
Aside from the certificate that the students receive after graduation, they would not have to worry about employment since the company's recruitment bank would help them in looking for one. The firm is partnering with various call centers which could provide jobs for their graduates. The training center would also help those graduates who do not qualify for call center jobs to look for employment that best suits their capabilities.
Doctor Lasala revealed that about 50% of their graduates have already landed on jobs in call centers but added that they are still monitoring the progress of their projects. He added that they are continuing to look for partnerships with other companies in order to enhance the services that they are planning to provide for their clients.
Modern facilities are also coming to better help the development of their students including computers, air conditioners, and an LCD projector.
