Initially, the ILM product is only being patronized by high-end and large multinational companies, now Chitty said some big or medium local companies have seen the importance of maintaining a good, and effective solution to manage and store datas, and other company's important and confidential information.
"There are an increasing market for high-end product for IT solutions in Cebu, the reason why we are aggressive in introducing our ILM here," said HP Philippines Corporation product manager for network storage and solutions Marie Eulalie R. Cruz in a press conference.

HP's ILM solutions are enabled by innovative technology for all stages of the information cycle, such as; capture, manage, retain, and deliver. He said this solution goes beyond storage and storage management to include business and application requirements like electronic document management.
The technology ILM also incorporate a full range of products, from imaging, scanning and printing products to world-class storage, plus services together with solutions from HP channel and technology partners.
ILM has been offered in the Philippine market in the last four years, but only this year, that the company decided to aggressively introduce the product because of the more ripe market.
Aside from Metro Manila, Cebu is one of the key cities being targeted by the company, because of the increasing presence of MNCs, and IT-savvy companies.
HP, also widely known as printer manufacturer, has a long history providing solutions to many industries, including financial services, healthcare and manufacturing.
The business organization's need to comply with the many regulatory requirements impacting electronic records keeping, businesses that are heavily regulated like financial services, insurance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and government agencies, must adhere to specific rules and regulations regarding the preservation of all electronic documentations, including email, instant messaging, and patient records.
