CCCI holds forum on business conflict mediation

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. will be conducting a business forum on "Business Conflict Mediation."

This will be facilitated by Belle Abaya, principal of Conflict Resolution Inc. (CORE, Inc.) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and also the consultant of the Supreme Court.

The Forum will be held at CCCI Center, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City on July 7, 2005 from 12:00nN - 3:00 pm.

It should be noted that a Business Mediation Unit was set up last year aiming to promote the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as method of avoiding litigation and arbitration.

This mediation unit aspires to assist the business community to become more aware of other ADR methods in resolving business conflicts.

The business forum on Business Conflict Mediation is free of charge and is open to all interested parties.
