2019 YEARBOOK Launch @ The Peak, Grand Hyatt Manila, Part 1
MANILA, Philippines — Last Thursday, Jan. 17, Grace Glory Go launched the 2019 edition of The Philippines Yearbook founded by her father Dr. Jimmy Go Puan Seng in 1936 at what is perhaps the most prestigious address in Metro Manila today: The Peak at the Grand Hyatt, the tallest commercial structure in the Philippines.
Vernon Go, Sen. Cynthia Villar, Grace Glory Go and former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban.
The Peak is the pinnacle of world-class luxe entertainment facilities, boasting an unparalleled sprawl of sophisticated living and recreational space to rival the best in the world. With incredible views of the city, it was the poetic choice to launch a historical tome that celebrates the old and the new, featuring photographs half-a-century ago vis-a-vis contemporary photos of the same location.
Anna Sobrepeña, Tessie Sy-Coson, Grace Glory Go and Hans Sy.
This year's edition promises to take you at once back in time while keeping one foot in the present. Page after page is a graphic representation of the passage of time, and also of its stillness. Supported by some of the most enduring and successful corporation in the country, The Philippines Yearbook published by The Fookien Times Publishing Company, saw some of the country's greatest luminaries at The Peak including Senator Cynthia Villar and former Speak of the House QC Rep. Sonny Belmonte as well as the royalty of the business world such as Tessie Sy Coson, Hans Sy, Nedy Tantoco, Anton Huang, Michael Tan and Joey Concepcion.
