‘James’ bids goodbye

MANILA, Philippines — Mariano Clidoro, former sportswriter of Tempo/Bulletin, Pilipino Mirror and Bulgar, will be laid to rest tomorrow at the Silangan Memorial Garden in Bacoor, Cavite. Interment is at 2 p.m.

He passed away last Jan. 19 at age 79, survived by his children Joey, Danny and Rose, and grandchildren Jhoros and Angelica.

“James” or “Clyde” among peers, he began his sportswriting career at the Philippine News Agency (PNA).
