Presidential Gold Cup stakes P12 million

MANILA, Philippines — The most awaited horse racing event of the year unfolds tomorrow at the Metro Manila Turf Club in Malvar, Batangas.

The Philippine Racing Commission, celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, on its 90th year, have joined forces for the P12 million Presidential Gold Cup, the biggest purse in Philippine horse racing history.

With 13 entries vying for the top prize of P7.2 million, this year’s PGC at 2,000 meters will be a race every horse racing aficionado must see.
