De La Salle University ranks 1st in sea Southeast Asia Nihongo Speech Contest

MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle University won first place in the 2018 Southeast Asia Nihongo Speech Contest held at Ho Chi Minh University, Vietnam. Marianne Promentilla, a major in AB International Studies Major in Japanese Studies, and Jen Bernadette Hieida, faculty adviser, are DLSU’s representatives in this year’s competition. The contest is part of the 2018 Japanese Language Education Symposium.
