MANILA, Philippines – Something big is making a landfall this September!
In celebration of the National Science Club Month, the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs, the first and largest umbrella science club organization, in its 42nd year of service to the Filipino Youth, will be conducting various activities for elementary and high school science clubbers nationwide.
On September 7-8, 2013, the National Science Clubs Summit a minicamp for high school students will happen simultaneously in different regions nationwide. On September 7, the national eliminations for the PSYSC Science Olympiad, a quiz competition for both elementary and secondary students will take place in 12 regional sites nationwide. Olympiad national finals will be held on September 29 in NCR. Likewise, MathSciAKa (pronounced as math-sa-ya-ka), an engineering science competition for elementary and high school students will be held on September 21 in NCR. PSYSC is inviting all elementary and secondary public and private schools, both affiliated and not, to partake in this NSCM’s festivities.
