PLDT Enterprise shores up expansion of US solutions provider

MANILA, Philippines — PLDT Enterprise, through its large corporate business group PLDT ALPHA, has inked an agreement to bolster the overseas expansion efforts of Afni, a United States-based professional services and contact center solutions provider.

Afni Philippines Inc. is the regional operating center of Illinois-based professional services and contact center solutions company Afni Inc. Established in 1936, the company now offers solutions that include full customer lifecycle contact center solutions for the communications, healthcare and insurance industries. It expanded offshore to the Philippines in 2012.

The PLDT ALPHA partnership will provide Afni with reliable and robust network technologies. These end-to-end solutions, which leverage the expertise of highly trained industry certified professionals, will securely and efficiently interconnect Afni’s newly built Quezon City contact center with its customer base and US contact centers.

The solution should also optimize operations for Afni’s continuously expanding Philippine workforce, which has grown to more than 2,000 in just a few years.
