Globe boosts roaming experience with Roam Surf
MANILA, Philippines – Globe Telecom recently announced its latest data roaming offering, Roam Surf, which anyone traveling abroad can use to enjoy 24 hours of unlimited data roaming for P599 a day.
Globe gives a lowdown on the perks of being connected with its Roam Surf data roaming service:
Full 24-hour cycle
With Globe Roam Surf, users get full 24-hour data roaming connectivity with the 24-hour cycle starting as the data roaming is activated. Users can keep connected with their favorite social apps, videos and Spotify playlist, book a ride on Uber and navigate their way through Google Maps.
No usage limits
Globe Roam Surf does not limit users to Facebook and Twitter. They can also access all sites and apps, stream music and videos, and share files.
No registration for postpaid users
Globe postpaid customers simply need to turn their data roaming on to avail of Roam Surf. No subscription required. They will receive a notification upon first data usage to signify the beginning of the 24-hour duration, as well as a pre-expiry and an expiry notification as a reminder and a call to action whether to continue or stop using Roam Surf.
For Globe Prepaid and Load Tipid customers, however, after being automatically latched on to the preferred roaming partner network, they will need to subscribe to Roam Surf by dialing toll-free *143#. Prepaid and Load Tipid customers can choose from three (3) variants: 1 day (P599), 3 days (P1,797), and 5 days (P2,995).
Automatic roaming partner selection
As soon as a postpaid customer lands in his or her country of destination and turns his or her phone on, the network signal will be automatically connected to the Globe roaming partner in that country.
Free travel insurance
Customers get a free travel insurance coverage for 30 days with TravelCare when they subscribe to Roam Surf.
