Initiatives under the partnership include a retail collaboration program which simplifies the customer retail experience by providing a one-stop shop for customer needs, direct carrier billing where customers can purchase content from Samsung Apps by charging the amount to their postpaid bills or deducting it from their prepaid load balances, a regional mobile app development program which will identify innovative start-ups in the region and help them accelerate their development and gain access to SingTel Group’s 500 million mobile customers, and direct access to selected apps, enabling customers to access selected services directly on the phone without the need to download.
