Maximize the Samsung Galaxy S5 with Globe mySUPERPLAN

MANILA, Philippines - Gearing up for the Philippine launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5, Globe Telecom has unveiled its roster of postpaid plan offerings, giving customers the most affordable and unbeatable deals to enjoy the latest Galaxy S smartphone with its fully customizable mySUPERPLAN.

For as low as P1,699 monthly, customers can avail themselves of the Samsung Galaxy S5 at Plan 999 with P700 monthly cashout over a 24-month contract period.

With the postpaid plan bundle, customers get five gigabytes (GB) worth of consumable mobile Internet surfing monthly plus free calls and text messages to all networks.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is also available for as low as P1,799 monthly at Plan 1299 with P500 monthly cashout for a 24-month contract period, complete with 5GB monthly consumable mobile surfing plus 25 minutes of calls and 500 text messages to all networks.

Alongside a fully customizable postpaid plan, customers also get one-month free Gadget Care, a comprehensive mobile phone protection program, and free access to Facebook until April 25.

Customers availing themselves of the Samsung Galaxy S5 from Globe also get the exclusive privilege to buy apps from the Samsung App Store and do in-app purchases, where the amount will be charged to the bill for postpaid customers and will be deducted from the prepaid load of prepaid customers.

With Globe mySUPERPLAN, customers get more than what they pay for with plans bundled with peso value amounts that are almost double the plan value. The peso value amount can be allocated among combos in the form of call, text, and surfing services, consumable amount, and gadgets.

A game-changer in the global telecoms landscape, Globe mySUPERPLAN was named the Most Innovative Telecom Product in the 16th Telecom Asia Awards, besting entries from Japan, Singapore, Korea, and Indonesia.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 boasts of a 5.1-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED display, a 16-megapixel camera with HDR (Rich tone), selective focus and virtual tour shot, fingerprint sensor, and an S Health and Heart Rate sensor.

It is IP67-certified dust and water-resistant, has a 2.5 GHz quad-core application processor, runs on LTE Category 4, has a 2800 mAh battery with 21 hours of talk time, and has an internal user memory of 16GB and a card slot microSD of up to 128GB.

Globe sustained its leadership in the postpaid segment after ending 2013 with double-digit growth both in postpaid revenues and subscriber base. Postpaid base has reached 2.03 million, a 17 percent increase from previous year’s 1.7 million.

Gross subscriber additions reached over 711,000 as of end-December 2013, 21 percent higher than a year ago. With the robust growth and continued expansion of the company’s postpaid customer base, postpaid revenues have swelled to P27.1 billion, an 18 percent improvement year-on-year.
