Globe Park in Batangas

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom recently inaugurated its first Globe Park, constructed for the benefit of the people of Barangay Bucana in Nasugbu, Batangas, for hosting the telecommunication company’s Southeast Asia-Japan Cable landing facility which connects the Philippines to six other territories, namely Brunei, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, with option to link with Thailand. To further strengthen the partnership, Globe extended assistance to Barangay Bucana by providing it with some basic tools such as raincoats and handcuffs, among others, and insurance for all barangay personnel under the company’s ‘Sagot Ka Ni Kap’ program.
