Gionee to expand footprint in Phl, introduces ELIFE E3 Blue

Banat

MANILA, Philippines - Gionee Communication Equipment Ltd. is expanding its imprint in the Philippine market as the popularity of its revolutionary smartphones among Filipinos rose considerably in just over two months after the brand’s launch here.

Gionee officials disclosed that the company is now firming up new marketing and distribution schemes as it hopes to be present in all major cities in the country within the year.

Gionee unveiled its flagship smartphone ELIFE E6 in the Philippines only last Oct. 10. Subsequently, it rolled out its other mobile phone products such as the GN708, P2, and just recently, the ELIFE E3 Blue.

The offerings of Gionee, especially the ELIFE E6, have earned raves from techies and even distributors for their innovative and game-changing features while maintaining their affordability.

Gionee’s recent introduction of smartphone ELIFE E3 Blue in the country has allowed the top high-tech company to solidify its presence in the Philippine market.

“For a new brand, Gionee is doing good. Even I was surprised by the quality of their phones. Cost-wise, Gionee is also very competitive,” said Laarni Chong of Hello Telecoms.

Gionee Philippines mobile head Katrin Salanga-Gregorio said Gionee smartphones have become increasingly appealing to many Filipino consumers.
“The ELIFE E3 has won over Filipino consumers even those who are not so tech-savvy. This is because the ELIFE E3 is user-friendly and affordable,” Gregorio said.

The ELIFE E3 is regarded as the slimmest quad-core smartphone in the world today. It is equipped with a 1.2-GHz quad core and has dual SIM capabilities. It has an eight-megapixel camera and is powered by an 1800mAH battery all encased in a 7.9-millimeter body.

For clearer images and videos as well as great sound, the E3 makes use of a 4.7-inch HD IPS retina display and DTS sound.

In addition to these, the E3 runs on Android 4.2, ensuring that you will be able to better enjoy the latest Android apps with ease.

Those who like to listen to music on their smartphones will delight in ELIFE E3 as it is equipped with DTS audio equipment capable of bringing surround sound.

To enable users to store more files, the ELIFE E3 has a memory of 13 GB that is expandable up to 32 GB.

Each ELIFE E3 package comes with a free case and two screen films to make sure that users will enjoy their smartphone for a long time. The ELIFE E3 is available in blue.

Gionee smartphones have caught the fancy of Filipinos. Gionee has joined the ranks of the other established brands in the market as among those that Filipinos want to own.

“Gionee smartphones are fast moving because they are packed with a number of features that you will usually find in phones that are priced higher,” an analyst said. Gionee mobile phones were found to be of superior quality but priced affordably and competitively.

The analyst noted that Gionee is fast catching up with its peers as the preferred smartphone of those who are hooked on social media and gaming.

Established in 2002, Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. is a hi-tech company engaged in mobile device designing, R&D, manufacturing, sales in international markets, and mobile Internet application services. Today, it sells over 23 million handsets per year worldwide.

Gionee smartphones, according to a top review site, are expected to gain strong following in the market as Filipinos start to display loyalty to the brand.

Belexis Concepts Inc. is the exclusive distributor of Gionee smartphones in the Philippines.
