Check out the new Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman in Sony campus roadshow
MANILA, Philippines - Experience the new Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman phone at the place where aspiring rock stars and pop idols meet.
The Walkman range of music handsets is specially featured in the “Like Performing Love Sony” campus roadshow.
Sony, Sony Ericsson and Sony Music come together in an entertainment showcase touring across schools and universities.
Visit the Sony Ericsson booth to check out the latest Walkman handsets and Xperia smartphones. Available in stores now is the new Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman phone, the first Walkman handset to offer Zappin, a fun way to search and preview a song.
By pressing the Zappin key, the song moves forward to the chorus of the next track, letting users decide whether it is a favorite. A karaoke function on the phone also allows a user to lower vocals for any track so one can sing along with the tune.
The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman can also be customized with different changeable color bands that come with the phone kit.
Other handsets on exhibit at the campus roadshow are the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman, the first Android smartphone with a Walkman player; the Sony Ericsson Spiro; Sony Ericsson Zylo; and Sony Ericsson Yendo with Walkman.
The Sony Ericsson Zylo, Sony Ericsson Spiro and Sony Ericsson Yendo offer impressive features. Both Sony Ericsson Zylo and Sony Ericsson Spiro give Facebook and Twitter access, as well as TrackID. This music recognition software can let users learn the name and artist of a music track they hear playing wherever they are.
The Sony Ericsson Zylo gives superb sound through a clear audio experience and supports the high definition FLAC format. The Sony Ericsson Spiro can let one chat via SMS with its conversation bubbles.
The colorful Sony Ericsson Yendo is the first full touch Walkman phone, providing a touch Walkman player, touch TrackID, easy navigation through favorite webpages, and social networking features.
Catch these mobile phones and more at the “Like Performing Love Sony” campus roadshow, with its first stop at the Centro Escolar University recently. Students can join the “Like Performing Love Sony” singing contest as an individual or as a group to win cash and Sony products worth up to $4,000.
The Philippine grand prize winner, whether a group or solo act, will perform at the Sony Yearend Party in Singapore and compete against the region’s other winners for more prizes.
Complete contest details are on www.facebook.com/SonyPhilippines.
