Phl experiences the Optimus Invasion

MANILA, Philippines - LG Electronics Philippines, a company that makes technology relevant to Filipinos, took another step in providing meaningful experiences to its customers through the 2011 LG Optimus Invasion Dealer Roadshow event held at the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel recently.

The event was organized for LG Electronics’ mobile phone dealers, and it featured LG’s latest product line-up for 2011.

To the delight of the attendees, the event featured the Optimus Black, one of the slimmest smartphones with a bright NOVA display; the Optimus 2X, the world’s first dual-core phone; the Optimus 3D, the smartphone that brings the 3D experience to your hand; and the Optimus Pad, the world’s first 3D HD recording tablet with a dual-core processor and the first tablet to use the Android Honeycomb OS.

Upon entry, visitors were treated to an ultimate Optimus experience with the LG Optimus Series passport that allowed customers to visit all four stations that featured the three phones and the tablet.

The passport also served as entry to the event where LG talked about its new and intelligent Optimus line-up.

The LG Optimus Black is a delightfully slim and light smartphone that has a bright four-inch NOVA LCD capacitive screen that promises truer whites even under direct sunlight.

It has the world’s first two-megapixel front-facing camera and a five-megapixel back-facing camera that makes taking pictures a pleasurable experience. Uploading these photos through Facebook or Twitter will never be a challenge as the Optimus Black is equipped Wi-Fi direct technology.

The LG Optimus 2X is known as the world’s first superphone. It is equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, which runs at a clock speed of 1GHz and boasts low power consumption and high performance for playing video and audio.

The NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor makes for faster, smoother Web browsing and multitasks with virtually no screen lag.

The LG Optimus 2X offers 1080p HD video playback and recording, adding to the industry’s new contents mirroring through HDMI interface and expanding content on external displays to Full HD quality.

The Optimus 2X can connect wirelessly to any DLNA-compatible digital device such as HD TVs for a console-like gaming experience.

The Optimus 2X incorporates an 8.0-megapixel back-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, allowing the user to take clear pictures that are a pleasure to view on its four-inch WVGA LCD full touch screen.

The LG Optimus 3D is a smartphone that provides a holistic and real 3D experience at the palm of your hand. With it, customers can shoot 3D content and view 3D images without 3D glasses.

The Optimus 3D is also equipped with a dual-core processor that can easily play back both 3D and HD content. Customers can also enjoy 3D content on TV by sending it via DLNA or HDMI.

The Optimus Pad is the world’s first tablet equipped with the Android Honeycomb OS. It is built with a dual-core processor for enhanced UI performance.

The Optimus Pad is also the world’s first tablet that is capable of 3D HD recording and Full HD video playback. It is supported by Flash 10.1 for optimum Web browsing experience.

LG Optimus, meaning “best” in Latin, is the phone series comprised of devices running on a range of popular operating systems and Android Tablet PC.
