Smart introduces mobile Web customer support facility

-

MANILA, Philippines - Have you forgotten how to send Pasaload to friends and loved ones? Interested to know the upcoming Extra Awesome Weekend offer? Need to activate international roaming but don’t know how? The answers are all online, accessible via mobile Web.

Subscribers of Smart Communications Inc. now have a mobile Web portal that provides answers to all service-related inquiries and concerns.

Called Sagot Agad WAP, this mobile Web-based version of the Sagot Agad SMS platform can be accessed free of charge.

To experience Smart’s Sagot Agad WAP, a subscriber simply uses his mobile phone’s browser to log on to m.smart.com.ph/sagotagad.

“Sagot Agad WAP is yet another channel where our subscribers can easily get up-to-date information about Smart’s products, services and promos, quickly and easily,” said Joy Sanchez, Smart’s Customer Care Department head.

“We virtually assist the customers through simple and easy-to-follow, click-and-browse menu structure until they reach the best response or solution for their concerns,” she said.

Sagot Agad WAP’s home page provides helpful links for Smart’s prepaid, postpaid, broadband, financial and other services, Smart Load products, as well as information on other Customer Care Touchpoints, Smart Stores and payment centers.

Each main menu further lists down all possible customer concerns. The Smart Buddy link, for example, provides information on all the available promos, load services, SIM and phone configuration and troubleshooting, Smart Rewards and a lot more.

“Sagot Agad WAP allows our subscribers to easily find necessary information at their own time and pace,” said Sanchez.

“Furthermore, we regularly update and customize the information based on the frequently asked questions and the timing of newly launched promos and services,” she added.

Sagot Agad WAP can be accessed across multiple Internet-capable phones, from the most basic GPRS handsets to the full-featured smartphones. To activate phone’s GPRS, MMS and 3G settings, a subscriber simply texts SET to 211.
