The GreenHeart line is a key pillar in Sony Ericsson’s product portfolio. The sustainable innovations found in the GreenHeart products will eventually roll out into the broader portfolio.

GreenHeart phones are made from as much as 50 percent recycled plastics. They have electronic, in-phone manuals to replace paper versions, saving over 90 percent in paper.

With its reduced product packaging, GreenHeart phones also save up on the environmental impact of transporting the product.

Waterborne paints are used for painting these products, thus reducing exposure to volatile organic compounds from regular paints.
