MANILA, Philippines – Globe has introduced its new Mobile Surfing Plans, recommended for Web surfers and individuals who want to chat, download and browse anywhere they are, even while on the go.
The Mobile Surfing Plans are postpaid data plans that offer free mobile Internet hours so subscribers can get up-to-date local and international news, view sports updates and entertainment picks, and have easy access to popular social networking sites and even video streams right from their Globe mobile phones.
Globe offers these in Plan 149 to enjoy free 10 mobile Internet hours, Plan 399 for free 30 mobile Internet hours, and Plan 799 for free 60 mobile Internet hours.
The Mobile Surfing Plans are add-on plans to any Globe postpaid plan.
The new Mobile Surfing Plans provide postpaid subscribers more economical rates for Internet usage through their mobile phones. Surf the Web for as low as P0.25 per minute on Plan 149 as against the standard mobile Internet browsing rate of P0.33 per minute.
Using the Mobile Surfing Plans, the charging rate is automatically time-based, which means one is charged for every minute consumed. Once the free mobile Internet hours under the plan are consumed, the P0.33 per minute regular mobile Internet browsing rates apply.
To experience the convenience of having Globe’s new Mobile Surfing Plans, a subscriber must have an existing Globe mobile postpaid plan such as GPlan and GFlex Plan. Extension Plans, Load Tipid or Allowance Plans, and iPhone Plans are not eligible for this offer at this time.
A customer may apply for a regular Globe postpaid plan and a Mobile Surfing Plan at the same time by visiting any Globe Business Center. This is not yet available to prepaid accounts and corporate and SME-managed accounts.
