E-mail the way you want it with Nokia E75

MANILA, Philippines – The Nokia E75 has arrived in stores. It is the first Nokia device to ship with a hori-zontal slide-out QWERTY and keymat and offering a unified messaging interface that combines e-mail MMS and SMS in one application.

In today’s climate, the costs are under closer scrutiny and e-mail is an essential driver of efficiency and productivity.

“Efficiency is about doing more with less and focusing on what’s truly essential,” says William Hamilton-Whyte, general manager of Nokia Philippines. 

“With mobile access to Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes, companies can potentially save up to a third of their operating costs as there’s no need for middleware or additional servers,” he adds.

Made from quality materials, the Nokia E75 has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and efficient three-step e-mail setup. This simplicity is achieved with the integration of Nokia Messaging, which ships with a device for the first time in the Nokia E75.

Nokia Messaging is a service that opens up the world’s leading consumer e-mail accounts — including Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and Windows Live Hotmail — and is joined by Nokia’s corporate e-mail clients, Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, which provide mobile access to over 90 percent of the world’s corporate inboxes as well.

The richer e-mail experience in the Nokia E75 brings all of the owner’s accounts into one simple to access and user-friendly graphical UI, which supports the most common features for desktop e-mail, including expanding views, one-click reply and sub-folder and HTML support.

Added to the enhanced e-mail functionality, upgraded personal information management feat-ures such as the ability to create and respond to meeting requests, and contacts lookup and auto-complete, also make their debut in the Nokia E75.   

“With the Nokia E75 we took a lot of inspiration from the Nokia 9300, which was our first mini communicator,” says Hamilton-Whyte. 

“Owners of the Nokia 9300 loved the messaging functionality a full keyboard provided, but also used the traditional phone keypad a great deal. With the Nokia E75 we kept these essential ingredients, significantly upgraded all of the features and made it as compact as possible,” he says.

The Nokia E75 also integrates tightly with other Ovi services and ships with a one year Ovi Files subscription, for storing files online, Nokia Maps, which works with the onboard A-GPS, and Nokia’s N-Gage games. 

 With a choice of either silver black or red, the Nokia E75 will retail for P25,800 and is available at all Nokia Stores and authorized dealers nationwide.
