Industry giants join CommunicAsia 2008

On June 17-20, CommunicAsia2008, Asia’s premier trade event for the infocomm and media industries, will play host to some of the world’s leading companies in its four-day CommunicAsia2008 Summit.

The CommunicAsia2008 Summit will feature industry forums on the hottest opportunities and trends in the wireless and broadband industry today.

Industry players from the wireless and broadband industries are looking closely at options for wireless broadband technologies such as 3G/HSPDA.WiMax.

The CommunicAsia2008 Summit will feature presentations and discussions on options for service providers who are implementing IPTV and WiMax or backhauling mobile bandwidth over IP.

Speakers will be sharing their valuable experiences on deploying these technologies and citing relevant case studies for reference.

Held concurrently at BroadcastAsia2008, the BroadbandAsia2008 International Conference will focus on the evolution and future of broadcasting.

In addition to addressing the challenges and solutions to transition to high definition (HD), the conference will also present HD showcases on workflow and production examples, including virtual studio in HD, as well as pan and scan technology for mobile devices.

As with a myriad of other applications, Internet Protocol (IP) will play a large part of driving the digitization of media in the future. IP will provide more flexibility in terms of monitoring and control for operators looking to manage the quality and efficacy of their broadcasts.
