Sun Dance Showdown ’08 goes to Laguna

There’s definitely no stopping Sun Cellular from grooving up the country as it goes to the south to hold the phenomenal hip-hop street dance competition, “Sun Dance Showdown ’08.”

On April 6, 10 schools from Laguna, Cavite and Rizal will pump up Robinsons Mall in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to showcase their liveliest and most amazing dance moves.

After making it to the intensive auditions, modern hip-hop dance groups from Perpetual Help System University of Biñan, Lyceum of the Philippines, Pamantasan ng Cabuyao, Laguna State Polytechnic College, PCU-UTS, AMA Los Baños, ABE Institute of Cainta, Siena College in Taytay, Trace College Los Baños and University of Rizal System in Angono will compete for the championship crown. A prize of P50,000 cash is at stake for the Sun Dance grand champion.

Sun Cellular celebrity endorsers Iya Villania and Jay-R will grace the event.

The Sun Dance Grand Showdown is part of Sun Cellular’s series of events to highlight its expanded coverage and improved signal reach nationwide and its value-for-money deals.
