2 new Sony Ericsson phones for the hip and fashionable
It’s about color, class and topnotch design in a slim multimedia phone. The new Sony Ericsson T650i, now available in the country, is a 3G phone that makes every user fashion runway-ready.
The T650i sports a mineral glass display over a 1.9-inch scratch-proof screen on an elegant body of stainless steel finish.
In growing green or midnight blue, the T650i sends out all the right signals with advanced communications, multimedia functions and connectivity.
More than just a pretty face, the T650i’s mineral glass display makes colors more intense and vibrant. It also works to improve visibility in bright environments like outdoor theaters. It even widens the viewing angle of the screen up to 170 degrees so you can enjoy your pictures, videos, e-mails and favorite websites in all their glory.
The keypad and the sides of the phone also display illumination effects that interact with animations on the screen. As these animations move across the display, they set off waves of light around the keypad, which stand out against the reflective stainless steel finish.
If you’ve seen the light, then the T650i will make you want to capture more of it. The phone has a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus and 3x digital zoom, plus a media player for your favorite MP3/AAC files.
Picture blogging, RSS feeds, video calls, video streaming, 3D games and Bluetooth stereo are all supported.
At just 12.5 millimeters thin, the Sony Ericsson T650i comes with a carry pouch and exclusive desk stand.

Another new Sony Ericsson phone, the T250i, was recently launched in the Asia-Pacific region.
The stylish metal finish of this compact phone gives it a premium feel that up until now has been the preserve of high-end models.
Add to this a feature set that makes it easy to stay connected, either with friends or the latest news, and you have the perfect partner for keeping in-touch with style.
“Now you can have quality design and finish in a phone without the high-end price tag,” says Dennis Manzano, Sony Ericsson GM.
“We realize that some people want just a straightforward phone, but we don’t feel that this should equate to straightforward design. Although technically the new T250i focuses on doing just the basics well, its advanced design clearly resembles the more premium T650i.”
The T250i though is not only about style. Based on consumer feedback, a built-in FM Radio is included on the T250i for music and news around the clock. The T250i kit includes a stereo hands-free headset.
To complete the picture, an on-board camera allows the user to capture his favorite moments, share them with friends, or save them in the phone’s memory as a pocket photo album.
For easy communication the T250i, which comes in black or silver, has a speakerphone that lets the user share a call with others in the room, predictive text input for fast text and picture messaging, and an in-phone calendar that comes in handy for noting key dates or appointments.
