A new cellular phone is hitting the market this month — the TwinPhone TPH500, a dual-face mobile handset that allows two SIM cards to function simultaneously.
The TwinPhone TPH500, invented by Aiman Taher of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and exclusively distributed locally by TwinPhone Inc. Philippines, has all the features of the usual cellphone — SMS, calling, a calendar, alarm clock, etc. — and more.
TwinPhone’s slogan, “We make things easy,” is evident in the phone’s functions.
The TwinPhone TPH500 is being touted as the only mobile phone that can be used for three-way calling by simply pressing the speaker function, without requesting the service provider for a conference call.
The TwinPhone, true to its “twin” concept, has two cameras, two MP3 and two MP4 for music and video playing and recording.
Each face of the tri-band phone has a 1.8-inch color screen. The phone also has one USB interface recharge and Bluetooth functions.
More than that, the SMS function displays both English and Arabic. The TwinPhone can be used for e-mail and also supports WAP explorer.
The TwinPhone is powered by just one lithium battery, and has a long standby time of 100 hours.

The phone units will be available by this month at all Semicon outlets nationwide, Celblus phone shops in Cebu, and other authorized dealers.
