In a bidding held last Oct. 27, Nestor Padilla, president and chief executive officer of Rockwell Land Corp., announced that Alcatel-Lucent, through LSI, as the winning bidder.
According to the criteria of cost-effectiveness, features and functionalities, and the ergonomics of the telephone sets, Alcatel-Lucent stood out among its competitors that included Cisco, Siemens, and Avaya.

A full IP configuration with over 150 IP phones, Rockwell plans to have it commissioned.
For its second requirements, the Joya Lofts & Towers, composed of two high-rise residential towers, will also be using the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise configured for over 1,000 extensions. It is intended to be completed in June 2008.
