2 new Walkman phones out

-
The Sony Ericsson Walkman phone range has grown wider with the local availability of the new W710i and W850i Walkman phones.

Both handsets feature the latest versions of the Walkman player which supports a variety of music formats and provides impeccable sound quality.

The new W710i in violet or gray has a daily step counter that resets automatically at midnight, a pedometer that measures speed, distance and time, and a sub-display and main display to show your progress even on standby.

A perfect partner for those with an active lifestyle, the W710i comes with an adjustable sports band called the Active Clip IAC-60. This can be clipped to a gym bag, the arm or waist.

The stereo portable hands-free HPM-65, a light design earphone, ensures the ear hooks don’t fall off during your exercise session.

The Walkman player, pedometer and FM radio can all be controlled using the quick access keys next to the external display. This way, users never lose their concentration during their workout.

Sony Ericsson’s first slider design phone is the W850i, a Walkman phone that extends the music to a more visual experience. A new "heartbeat illumination" feature lights up the control keys in time to your music.

With its two-inch QVGA TFT screen, the phone is perfect for video telephony, browsing webpages in full, maintaining a blog and even viewing pages with the integrated Macromedia Flash.

Push e-mail, a function that integrates e-mail accounts for easier access, is also supported.

The W850i’s two-megapixel camera with LED light and 4x digital zoom also lets the user take sharp photos even in landscape.

The phone also supports 3D Java games, RSS feeds, flight mode, PC synchronization and Bluetooth connectivity.

Both Walkman phones are now available in Sony Ericsson Concept Shops and authorized dealers nationwide.
