CX65: Full multimedia experience

Siemens mobile is now ready for the future with one of its next-generation MMS mobile phones – the tri-band CX65.

Launched early this year at CeBIT 2004, the CX65 has a brilliant extra large, high-quality 65,536 color screen and integrated camera for video and photography housed in a typically stylish Siemens design.

The CX65 is also a smart and stylish way to capture life’s best experiences, and thanks to a new animated download assistant, it aims to make mobile phone use easier for consumers.

According to Lavenia Perez-Revilla, Philippine country manager of Siemens mobile, the CX65 is the first phone to truly bring this next generation of MMS to the mass market.

"It’s the kind of phone that people who love communicating creatively have been waiting for," she said.

"For them it will redefine messaging, screen quality and usability. The stunning size of the screen sets the phone apart from the rest as it enables users to express and share emotions, and thus gives new excitement to mobile communications," she added.

The CX65 targets users who are eager to explore a new dimension of MMS with full multimedia messaging. An integrated VGA video camera captures pictures and video images, while an extra large screen displays them vividly in 65,536 colors.

The CX65 also offers a photo editor for users to play around with images before sending them via MMS or the integrated e-mail client over a mobile network.

Adaptable and simple to use, the Siemens CX65 incorporates technology and style with ease.

In addition to the advanced MMS features, a personal download assistant is on hand to help users easily personalize the CX65 by downloading content direct to the handset through CSD, WAP 2.0 or GPRS (up to 53.6 kbps).

Taking the form of an animated character, the assistant guides users through, finding and installing polyphonic ringtones, wallpapers, pictures, games, chat applications and more from the Siemens internet.

Users downloading games will also benefit from the CX65’s joystick which makes gaming more engaging.

The CX65 also offers trusty Siemens reliability. Up to 11MB capacity provide plenty of storage space for MMS messages, video clips and applications. And with a talk time of five and a half hours and 300 hours standby time on the battery, there is no worry about the CX65 running out of energy.
